Churches may request grants to cover a portion of the cost to send a volunteer team to help another church or partner with a ministry project. Grants may also go towards a community outreach project.
Qualifications and Restrictions
- Examples of what the fund could possibly cover: transportation to and from place of service; food, transportation, housing on the field; etc.

Applications will only be accepted from churches and church plants who cooperate with the Canadian National Baptist Convention (CNBC) and are in agreement with the CNBC purpose.

Applications will not be considered until a church is giving 10 percent or displays a pattern of increased giving through Cooperative Giving Program.

Mission Team Members must be members of one of our CNBC churches or church plants. The number of Mission Team Members may vary.

Maximum grant request: 15 percent of total cost of trip, up to $400 per person and a maximum of $1,000 per church total.

Funds will not be used as salary or as an end of the mission trip stipend.
Priority will be given:

To those who have not received money previously
-
To projects that will expand ministry and evidence potential for growth

To churches that support the CNBC mission endeavours through the Cooperative Giving Program and special mission offerings.
Order of preference

A team who will be serving in Canada, helping one of our CNBC churches or church plants
-
A team serving outside of Canada helping one of our CNBC appointed missionaries
-
A team who will be serving outside of Canada, helping one of our NAMB or IMB related churches, missionaries, or ministries

A team who is volunteering through our partner organization, Canadian Global Response, to do disaster relief, poverty relief, or community development either inside Canada, North America, or internationally
