How to Give

HOW TO GIVE TO COOPERATIVE PROGRAM (CP) OR GREAT COMMISSION OFFERING (GCO):

There are two ways your church can give to the CNBC.

Cheque: Your church can write a cheque, made out to the Canadian National Baptist Convention or CNBC. It is helpful if your church includes a contribution form (found on our website here) as this helps us know how you would like to direct the funds. If you do not have access to the contribution form, it is important that you indicate what the funds are for - in the memo field of the cheque or include a note with the cheque.

For example: Memo - Cooperative Program (CP) - OR - Memo - Great Commission Offering (GCO)

Etransfer: Your church can also send funds by etransfer. The email to send funds to is accounting@cnbc.ca. It is imperative that we know what these funds are for.  You may indicate this in the "notes" section of the etransfer or send a follow-up email to accounting@cnbc.ca.

For example: Memo - Cooperative Program (CP) - OR - Memo - Great Commission Offering (GCO)

When your church sends funds that include more than just Cooperative Program giving, it is essential that the designation is clearly marked in the memo field or in a note included with the contribution (eg CP - $225, GCO - $50).

We advise that church contributions be given from a church account, not a personal one.  If a church does not have a bank account, please send funds through the sending church. Any questions for clarifications can be directed to accounting@cnbc.ca. We are glad to help with any clarifications needed.
