Heaven Sent Community Fellowship
STORY OF CHURCH PLANTING IN THE MALL
In Matthew 16:18, Jesus said, “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
I am Renato S. Villavicencio, from the Philippines. I am married to Yolanda and we have been blessed with four children, Marc (married to Danielle), Lois, Keziah, and Stephen. We have been invited here in Canada to do missionary work.
We are now serving in Heaven Sent Community Fellowship located in Westdale Mall, 1151 Dundas Street West, Mississauga, Ontario.
Our ministry started when Pastor Alex Pacis thought of having a church in the mall, so he talked with his sister-in-law about opening a coffee shop as a way of inviting people. In the process of preparation Pastor Alex started to discuss the matter with Andrew Lamme, one of the lead catalysts of CNBC. It was then that we were able to open coffee shop, with Pastor Alex and Prescilla Goulet putting up the capital and the CNBC helping with rent and support for us as the church planter.
We praise and thank the Lord because in May 1, 2014, the coffee shop was opened and on May 11 we started with the Bible study/worship service. Gospel tracts were also distributed to our customers along with an invitation to attend worship service and prayer meeting. SincE we have been ministering to people in and around the mall, we do prayer and counseling ministry, evangelism, and visitation.
The coffee shop is open everyday, Mondays to Fridays, 10:00AM to 9:00PM, Saturdays from 10:00AM to 6:00PM, Sundays 12:00PM to 5:00PM. Prayer meeting is scheduled every Wednesday 7:30PM to 8:30PM and worship service and fellowship 11:00AM to 1:30PM.
The Lord has blessed the ministry and we have grown in quantity and quality. We have just celebrated our first year anniversary and we thank the Lord for what He has done, for what He is doing, and for what He is going to do for His glory and for the salvation of the lost.
We thank the Lord for CNBC, and for all of our ministry partners and supporters for the help and prayers.
May The Lord continue to bless you all.
Please continue to pray for us that the Lord will continue to bless us exceedingly, provide our needs, and use us through the power of the Holy Spirit in bringing more people to Christ.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
