Every church partnering, giving and bringing the Gospel to the world.
The Global Mission Offering (GMO) provides that opportunity. CNBC churches have an annual missions emphasis, during which the whole church learns about missions and ministry in Canada, North America and internationally. The church is inspired by true stories from missionaries, church planters and mission teams. You can be a part of future stories by giving to the GMO, knowing that your gifts will help others to hear about Jesus and then be discipled.
Because you give, international missionaries and mission teams are reaching unreached peoples and places around the world, making disciples and multiplying churches for the glory of God.
This past winter the CNBC, in partnership with the International Mission Board, commissioneed Talia to the mission field in South East Asia. Talia and her team travel around to small neighbouring villages to meet in people's homes and share the Gospel. Talia is one of three fully funded CNBC/IMB missionary units currently on the field.
Because you give, CNBC churches partner with the North American Mission Board to empower a church planting movement that invests in the Kingdom and has a powerful impact all over North America for Jesus Christ.
- Ashley and April Austin, church planters with NAMB, planted Canvas Church in Victoria, BC in 2013. This five-year-old church plant has grown from nine people to a thriving, healthy community of 400 people because of their active surrender to the Spirit of God—a high value of the church.
Because you give, churches are strengthened as their pastors, leaders, and church members have opportunities for training.
- Our Church Strengthening ministry has helped sponsor numerous training events across Canada. One of those events, the CNBC Alberta North Equip Conference, was hosted in Edmonton last fall. Other training events include the West Coast Association's "Restart" initiative. This initiative helps fading churches get revived.
Because you give, the GMO provides grants, which help CNBC church members and pastors participate in mission outreach.
THANK YOU FOR GIVING!
