The Cooperative Program (CP) is the most important funding source for our ministries and missions. Without this offering the CNBC could not function. Every meeting and every training event with the CNBC is provided for through the CP, which helps finance evangelism, church planting, church strengthening ministries and missions across Canada and around the world.
Churches give regularly—monthly or quarterly—a percentage of their general offerings (6 –10%) through the Cooperative Program, to participate in CNBC ministries and missions.
Because your church gives through the Cooperative Program:
You help finance every CNBC ministry and mission effort: evangelism, church planting, church strengthening and missions across Canada and around the world.
You help support international missionaries. They are not required to solicit funds for their salaries or field expenses. This enables them to devote their time and energy to their missionary endeavours while being assured of secure, regular, long-term funding. Note: The International Mission Offering provides the majority of the support for international missionaries.
You help provide for every meeting and every training event in the CNBC.
The SBC Cooperative Program also funds our partnerships with SBC agencies: the International Mission Board (IMB) and the North American Mission Board (NAMB).
